First look at Potawatomi Casino’s next stage of $190 million renovation
The casino’s 114,000-square-foot renovation project started in May of 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2024.
Potawatomi Casino Hotel’s latest round of renovations includes two new gaming areas, a new bar and restaurant, and over 300 new slot machines. The project is expected to be completed in 2024, with the grand opening of the much anticipated sportsbook in the former Northern Lights Theater.
One of the two new gaming areas is the “ElevenHundred”, which includes 633 slot machines, 16 gaming tables (12 blackjack, two roulette and two craps), an exciting new dual-wheel roulette game, and electronic blackjack and craps games. The “ElevenHundred Bar & Lounge” will seat 78 people near the gaming area.
The Atrium gaming area is also new, and will feature 78 new slot machines including Buffalo Lightning Link.

Street Eatz is the new bar and restaurant that has been designed with a New York graffiti décor. The menu will include Milwaukee favorites such as barbecue, brats and street tacos, and a “bar truck” that will serve slushy cocktails and a range of beer.

In August the group celebrated the grand opening of Rock & Brews, a rock music-themed restaurant by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of the band KISS. The restaurant and bar features 48 domestic and import beers on tap, including the specialty brew, Dealers Choice, a Potawatomi Pilsner, created by Milwaukee’s own City Lights Brewing Co.
Set in the heart of Milwaukee, Potawatomi Casino Hotel is the Midwest’s premier entertainment destination, offering guests the best in gaming, dining and entertainment. The property features a 500-room, 19-story hotel, the second largest hotel in Milwaukee, and is home to five restaurants. To discover more visit www.paysbig.com.
