Photographer and filmmaker Emmett Williams’ multimedia installation documents locations throughout the U.S. where Black people were lynched. The exhibit forces viewers to confront the spaces that they daily inhabit  –  and what one knows, doesn’t know, or refuses to admit or acknowledge.
