For the first time, Red Arrow Park’s “Slice of Ice” rink has been reimagined as a community roller skating rink during the summer. “Summer Spinz” returns on Friday, August 18, from 5 PM – 9 PM, to close out Downtown Employee Appreciation Week 2023! 

Come early for free lessons taught by Roll Train, from 5 PM – 6 PM, followed by a Family Skate Hour from 6 PM – 7 PM. Then, our House DJ, Chicago’s DJ Bam will spin hits for your skating delight from 7 PM – 9 PM. 

Milwaukee Rec’s Wacky Wheels Skate Van will be on-site starting at 5 PM with free skate rentals available on a first-come, first-served basis. All skate rentals must be returned by 8:30 PM. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by someone 16 years or older. Carrying people is not allowed.

August 18 vendors include Chillwaukee, Cottonmouth MKE, Jmakin’ Jamaican Kitchen & Grill, Little Havana Express, and Kona Ice. Food trucks and vendors are subject to change without notice.
