Historic Milwaukee’s Spaces & Traces program celebrates the 40th annual Spaces & Traces, offering guided tours of restored and newly constructed apartments, condos, hotels, commercial spaces and more in Milwaukee’s Downtown, Westown, Yankee Hill, and Third Ward neighborhoods. Historian John Gurda will share the history Downtown, Westown, Yankee Hill, and Third Ward.

Designing Downtown’s Future
DCD Commissioner Lafayette Crump will discuss efforts to update the Downtown Plan and shape the next two decades of development, policies, and programs that enable a more walkable, vibrant, diverse, inclusive and resilient downtown.

May 9 at 6 pm
Renovating a Historic Hotel
Juli Kaufmann of Fix Development and architect Patrick Jones of Ramsey Jones Architects who co-developed the historic Dubbel Dutch hotel will share their renovation efforts to convert this 1898 duplex into a boutique hotel.
