Two other Milwaukee professional teams, the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League and the Milwaukee Wave of the Major Arena Soccer League, enter playoff competition in April.

The Admirals, an affiliate of the Nashville Predators, end the regular season April 16 and then compete for the Calder Cup. 

The Wave, seven-time champions of professional indoor soccer, end the regular season April 2 on the road and then begin the playoffs.

Both the Admirals and the Wave play at the UWM Panther Arena. Remaining regular season Admirals home games are April 1, 5, 7, 14 and 16.
