St. Patrick’s Day

Parties, a parade and plenty of merriment to go around.

This March, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in the Milwaukee area with delicious Irish food and drink, fun traditions, music, and camaraderie.  
Join the Shamrock Club of Wisconsin for these festive events:

March 11
Partake in an evening of live entertainment, including music by Ian Gould and Pat McCurdy, drinks and raffles at the annual ShamROCK Kick Off Party at Miller Time Pub & Grill, 509 W. Wisconsin Ave. in the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
March 12
8:30am: St. Patrick’s Church, 723 W. Washington St., hosts the 35th Annual Mass in honor of St. Patrick. The Mass includes a liturgy sung by the Shamrock Club Choir and a performance by the Club’s Color Guard Pipes & Drums.
12pm: Watch the 54th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Milwaukee. Visit for parade routes and updates.


March 16-20: Receive free admission at the Cedarburg History Museum and sample Green River Ice Cream Floats. Visitors can view the museum’s many exhibits, including the new “Immigrant Experience: Ozaukee County During World War II.”


March 12 and 17: Head to The Harp, 113 E. Juneau Ave., for an all-day Celtic celebration from 10am-close March 12 and 6am-close March 17. Watch Irish dancers perform at 5:30pm March 12 and 4pm March 17, and enjoy live music by The Scrubbers from 2-5pm March 12 and 3-6pm March 17, and Dan Harvey, 7-11pm March 17. A full menu will be available both days until 9pm.

March 17: Rev up your engines for St. Patrick’s Day Indoor Bike Night at MOTOR Bar & Restaurant at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The event features live Celtic and bluegrass-inspired music by Lil Rev & Will Branch Duo, food and drink specials, and traditional raffles. Visit for more information.  

County Clare Irish Inn & Pub, 1234 N. Astor St., opens at 8am for its St. Patrick’s Day Charity Event. The day begins with a full Irish breakfast followed by a Blessing of the Shamrock at 10:30am, Celtic music and traditional Irish dancers. $5 cover charge, with proceeds benefiting local charities. Due to a high volume of patrons, seating is very limited, and no reservations or table service is available. Visit for more information.
