Celebrating over half a century as the world’s largest music festival, the Big Gig is back, with a staggering entertainment lineup. 
Twelve stages, including the newly-renovated American Family Insurance Amphitheater and state-of-the-art US Cellular Connection Stage, host dozens of artists. They perform different musical styles, from country to hip-hop to pop and classic rock.   
With nearly 50 food vendors, shopping, sports, rides, and a children’s playground, the fest is located on scenic Lake Michigan and easily accessible by car, bus or bike. The fest offers a fun-filled experience for all ages.

Bristol Renaissance Faire

Step back in time to 16th century England at Kenosha County’s Bristol Renaissance Faire, now celebrating 35 years. Meet characters dressed in period costumes and enjoy rides, food, games, shopping, exhibits, music and more. renfair.com/Bristol

Strawberry Festival, June 25-26,
Downtown Cedarburg

After a 2-year hiatus, the popular Strawberry Festival once again pays homage to the delicious summer fruit with a family-friendly celebration. Enjoy strawberry wine, shortcake and other tasty food and beverage items, shop for unique artisan items at Art on the Avenue and partake in contests. Kid-friendly activities will keep the youngsters entertained. 


Bastille Days July 14-17
Downtown Milwaukee

After a two-hiatus, Bastille Days, an exuberant celebration of French culture, music, and cuisine, returns to Downtown Milwaukee. The free festival kicks off with the Storm the Bastille Run/Walk July 14. On July 16, youngsters can enjoy Kids Day, which includes a Beignet Breakfast, French lessons, Milwaukee Ballet performances, and more. Robin Pluer, Terence Simien and the Zydeco Experience will be among the festival’s diverse entertainment lineup. Grab a snack from one of many food vendors, including Crawdaddy’s on Greenfield, Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ, and Creme and Crepe Cafe, and sample a glass of vino at a wine tasting sponsored by Door Peninsula Winery.
