Lift a Stein at Oktoberfest 2023!

Six consecutive weekends, starting the first weekend of September thru the first weekend of October.

All are welcome to experience a unique and authentic Teutonic-style celebration at Old Heidelberg Park in Glendale. The Bavarian Bierhaus celebrates over 60 years of delicious German food, traditional music, and culture and is home to the oldest Oktoberfest in the Milwaukee area.

Oktoberfest is held Thursdays-Sundays in September and the first weekend in October. Gates open at 4pm Thursdays and Fridays and at 11am Saturdays and Sundays.

Admission is $5 on Fridays and $10 on Saturdays. Visitors receive $5 off general admission wristbands when they download the Bavarian Bierhaus app and show the app at the front gate. 

Tables are available for reservation under the large pavilion ($10 on Fridays and $40 on Saturdays) and seat up to 8 people. Reserve a table by visiting

Food and drink are always a high point 

Imbibe an authentic German brew, various wines, or a refreshing cocktail from the Bierhaus’ extensive drink menu. Half off liters of bier every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-2pm.

Enjoy German and Austrian-style cuisine including Usinger’s Sausages, Doner Kebab, Bavarian pretzels, and schnitzel. Kids’ and vegetarian meals are available to order. 

Rainbow trout on a stick and a cod fish fry are available on Friday nights, and spanferkel and rotisserie chicken are available Fridays and Saturdays.

Entertainment

Enjoy a true “Gemütlichkeit” with carnival games, a midway, dancing, singing, hammerslagen, children’s menu items, and entertainers. 

Oktoberfest Games

Try your luck at Hammerschlagen, a traditional German game in which several contestants try to hammer a nail into a stump, and other carnival games.
