September 8 @ 8:00 am – September 9 @ 5:00 pm
An Immersive, 4D Light Experience. Light, art, dance, music, fashion and food will combine to create a visually dazzling, free, family-friendly sensory experience. Local Milwaukee artists, along with MIAD’s Innovation and Technology lab will design larger than life art works to be projected across the face of the Mitchell Street Art Collaborative’s multi-story building at 710 W. Historic Mitchell St.
This Friday, Sept 8 and Saturday, Sept 9, see 4D projection mapping technology in Milwaukee’s iconic Historic Mitchell Street Neighborhood. The multi-story building at 710 W. Historic Mitchell Street will serve as the mesmerizing backdrop for the show.
This building is the perfect location for a Joy Engine event, as they will literally be shining a light on the home of Mitchell Street Arts, a nonprofit commons dedicated to promoting creative abundance in Milwaukee.
Mitchell Street Arts reimagines what’s possible for building a better, more creative world, and is home to an Artist in Residence program, a public stage, a collaborative makerspace, art classes, and more.
This event spotlights the rich diversity and creative class present in the Historic Mitchell Street Neighborhood – and also the important work being done at Mitchell Street Arts – as you are dazzled with Milwaukee’s first-ever, FREE arts and lights festival experience.
