Milwaukee River Challenge
September 18, 2021 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

This head style (time-trial) race is Sept. 18, and staged along the Menomonee and Milwaukee Rivers, 8:30am-2pm.
Spectators enjoy the race from more than a dozen bridges that dot the course and offer spectators intimate views of the racing and blade work.
More than 900 participants are expected to participate in the 3-mile Challenge, which starts at City Lights Brewery on 25th and Canal Streets on the Menomonee River and proceeds east to the junction with the Milwaukee River.
Crews then navigate a 90 degree angle turn as they head north toward the finish line at Schlitz Park, just below Pleasant Street. Hosted by The Milwaukee Rowing Club.
