Milwaukee Ballet presents Michael Pink’s charming family-friendly holiday classic The Nutcracker Dec. 10-24 at the Marcus Performing Arts Center.

Featuring gorgeous costumes and sets and stunning choreography, The Nutcracker tells the story of the Tannenbaum children who are transported to a fantasy world in which their toys come to life, created by enigmatic magician Drosselmeyer. With the help of the Nutcracker Prince, the children must battle the malevolent Rat King.

The Nutcracker is appropriate for adults and children ages four and over. The performance runs for 90 minutes and includes one intermission. For tickets, visit milwaukeeballet.org.
