Mexican Fiesta
August 26, 2022 – August 28, 2022
This festival celebrates the sound, culture and taste of Mexico and other Latin American countries each year with three days of fun, food, Mariachi and Fiesta for everyone.

With plenty of exciting live entertainment, fascinating cultural exhibits, delicious food and drink and more than 450 vendors, Mexican Fiesta runs August 26-28 at Henry Maier Festival Park.
Hours are noon to midnight Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Admission is $22, with free admission to the general public from noon to 3 pm Friday. From noon to 1 pm Saturday and Sunday, the festival also offers free admission for those 65 and over, people with disabilities, military active duty personnel, and veterans with current identification.
Entertainment
The 2022 Mexican Fiesta entertainment lineup includes performances by El Mimoso, Lila Downs, Jesse & Joy, Paquita La del Barrio, La Mafia, Jerry Rivera, and more. Visit mexicanfiesta.org for a complete entertainment lineup.

Cultural Pavilion
Sample “Pan de Feria,” a scrumptious Mexican bread, shop for unique items made by Mexican artisans, watch folkloric dancers and participate in craft workshops. A genealogy exhibit encourages festival-goers to learn about their family histories. The Pavilion also features a Festival de Los Muertos celebration with the annual Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) parade, featuring vibrant clothing and impressive face makeup, which will be held on the festival grounds on Aug. 26 at 8 pm that day.

Car & Motorcycle Show
A Mexican Fiesta tradition, this year’s Car Show, noon-5 pm Saturday, Aug. 27, will showcase custom cars, street rods, hot pickups, custom motorcycles, and street machines. Pre-registration is $35 per vehicle. Visit mexicanfiesta.org to register.
Mass and Procession
The annual, free Mexican Fiesta Mass, Aug. 28, features celebrant Esequiel Sanchez and a Jalisco Mariachi band, which will be held at 11am at the BMO Harris Pavilion. Mass will be followed by a lakefront procession at 12:30pm.
Cielo Tejido
Come and visit this unique piece of art directly from Etzatlán, Jalisco… Cielo Tejido – winner of a Guinness World Record!! Cielo Tejido will be display during Mexican Fiesta Aug. 26-28.
