The Juneteenth Day Celebration in Milwaukee is among the oldest and longest running such parades and celebrations in the nation and this year marks the 51st anniversary.  Juneteenth Day commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States. 

This year’s theme is “Celebrate Culture Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow; A Tribute to Dad, Father, Teacher, Protector & Hero.
