Indycar Racing returns to Milwaukee Mile

Indycar racing returns to the Milwaukee Mile over the Labor Day weekend with not one, but two 250-mile races.

After practice rounds on Aug. 30, the Hy-Vee Milwaukee Mile 250s begin with  NTT Series Race 1 starting at 5pm Saturday, Aug. 31. NTT Series Race 2 begins at 1:30pm Sunday, Sept. 1.

Built as a horse track in 1876, the Milwaukee Mile hosted its first automobile race in 1903. Known as the oldest continuously operated motor speedway in the world, the Milwaukee Mile is on the grounds of the Wisconsin State Fair Park, located in West Allis since 1891.
