Blending gorgeous flowers with exquisite art, The 9th Annual Bloomin’ Holidays returns to the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA). This year’s popular event is themed “Brittle Beauty” and is inspired by the lovely fragility of plants and flowers, as well as current glass exhibit The Studio Glass Movement in Wisconsin: The Hyde Collection. 

After enjoying floral arrangements throughout the galleries, guests can watch pre-recorded video demonstrations in a socially-distant fashion and purchase unique artisan items at the MOWA gift shop.

In addition to Bloomin’ Holidays, Appleton filmmaker and artist Oliver Franklin Anderson transforms the museum’s exterior with a stunning, surrealistic outdoor light installation, Lights In Bloom. The installation is free to view, and will be available from 5-10pm every day through Nov. 7.
